Hey, this is my first prayer request on here. But, On January second at 3:00 AM, a friend of mine lost his step father. I haven't spoken with the family, but I am sure they are deeply troubled. He was diagnosed with cancer early last year and given around 3 months to live. Around October, doctors could find no trace of the cancer in his body, even when it had been scattered all throughout only weeks before. However, just around exam time, they found out the cancer was in fact still in his body and they did not give him long to live. Luckily he was able to spend Christmas and New Years with his family. I'm sure anyone could be thankful that he lived as long as he did and could be around for some of those special times with family. However, this is not much of a comfort once the loved one is lost. So, if anyone could just lift up their own prayers for the family, I'm sure it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! See ya in about a week!!
